Blogging Bug

I guess that I just haven't caught the blogging bug yet. I really don't have a lot to say. I'm more of a list maker. I found an old "To Do List" from November of '07 and it looks the same as my '08 "To Do List". Maybe I should put "throw away old to do list" on my new to do list. In list form, this is what I did this week.

* Held Aaron as much as I could.

*Wished my parents a happy anniversary. 44 years and they haven't killed each other yet.

*Mailed out two orders of petticoats. I plan on working more after Thanksgiving.

*Allmali turned four so we celebrated that little miracle too. Just cake and ice cream. She wants to go skating with her cousins for her B-Day. She is such a sweet girl.

In list form what I am looking forward to.

* I can't wait to see my family for Thanksgiving.

* I am looking forward to a week of no school.

* And I can't wait for Audrey's hair to grow out.

*And I am looking forward to Annabelle losing her next tooth. She gets so excited about her teeth falling out.

I will post photos of Aaron next time. He has already grown so much.

Take care everyone and I'll see you soon.

What a Week!

So, here I sit at my computer, in my old jeans (how I have missed my jeans these past six months), holding the new little man in my life. Aaron Timothy Hallman is a good baby even if the first thing he did upon entering this world was to pee on me. I have a lot to learn about little boys.

He was 9 pounds, 6 and 1/2 ounces. Like 1/2 an ounce makes a difference, but the nurses liked to
say it. He was 21 1/2 inches long. He was also the seventh baby delivered in the hospital that night and the biggest.

He missed being a Halloween baby by thirty-four minutes. So many people were in labor and they were short on staffing, no one would break my water for me. Aaron arrived three minutes and two pushes after the midwife finally broke my water. I can't tell you how happy I was. Just wished that they would have done it sooner!

This photo of me was taken when we dropped the girls off at my Mom's house on the way to the hospital. And that is NOT a smile.
Well, that is about it. For the past week I have done very little. I did go and vote, Aaron saw the Dr., Annabelle goes to school, but that's about it. And thanks to my Mother I haven't even had to cook! I think Aaron has been held twenty hours a day on average since coming home and I love it. It really has been a great week.

My 1st Time

Julie has been after me to "blog" for a very long time. And although I love reading Julie, April, and Delayne's blogs, I myself have no idea what to say. So I guess I will start with being tagged (even though I wasn't blogging when Julie put my name on her list!).
So "6 on 6" (that sounds dirty - sorry)
6 TV Shows I like to watch:
-Chuck
-Life
-Firefly (not on the air anymore but still really good)
-Dexter (that's my husband's fault - don't watch it!)
-Project Runway
- Sara Connor Chronicles

6 Restaurants I like to eat at:
- Pia Cere (Italian food in Cloverdale)
- Ukiah Garden Cafe
- La Hacienda (Chico - love the salad dressing)
- Cheese Cake Factory - cheesecake, need I say more?
- Olive Garden
- Gary Chu's

6 Things that happened today:
- Allmali and Audrey both crawled into my bed and pulled my hair. I was sandwiched in so tight that I couldn't get out of my bed to go to the bathroom. That is a very bad thing when you are 9 months pregnant.
- Playgroup - we had our annual "Halloween party".
- I watched Chuck.
- Asked Tim to get a pizza. I didn't want to cook.
- I became an Aunt again. Richard's little boy was born today.
- I found out that Sara Berry/Clark will be moving back to the Ukiah area. Yeah!

6 Things I am looking forward to:
- Having a new baby to hold
- Thanksgiving and seeing all my family
- Allmali's 4th b-day party (she wants one while all her cousins are here).
- Being able to fit in my old jeans
- Christmas
- Finding out if the baby is a boy or girl. Ultrasound couldn't tell us anything.

6 Things on my wish list:
- To have my shop built so all my sewing machines will be out of my house.
- To have a clean, organized home.
- To be organized in general.
- To have an awesome family vacation.
- Debt free.
- More time with my family.

6 People to tag:
- I don't know six people who blog. Sorry

So, okay I hope no one fell asleep for my first blog. But I think that is it for me tonight.
Take care everyone.
