Blogging Bug

I guess that I just haven't caught the blogging bug yet. I really don't have a lot to say. I'm more of a list maker. I found an old "To Do List" from November of '07 and it looks the same as my '08 "To Do List". Maybe I should put "throw away old to do list" on my new to do list. In list form, this is what I did this week.

* Held Aaron as much as I could.

*Wished my parents a happy anniversary. 44 years and they haven't killed each other yet.

*Mailed out two orders of petticoats. I plan on working more after Thanksgiving.

*Allmali turned four so we celebrated that little miracle too. Just cake and ice cream. She wants to go skating with her cousins for her B-Day. She is such a sweet girl.

In list form what I am looking forward to.

* I can't wait to see my family for Thanksgiving.

* I am looking forward to a week of no school.

* And I can't wait for Audrey's hair to grow out.

*And I am looking forward to Annabelle losing her next tooth. She gets so excited about her teeth falling out.

I will post photos of Aaron next time. He has already grown so much.

Take care everyone and I'll see you soon.

What a Week!

So, here I sit at my computer, in my old jeans (how I have missed my jeans these past six months), holding the new little man in my life. Aaron Timothy Hallman is a good baby even if the first thing he did upon entering this world was to pee on me. I have a lot to learn about little boys.

He was 9 pounds, 6 and 1/2 ounces. Like 1/2 an ounce makes a difference, but the nurses liked to
say it. He was 21 1/2 inches long. He was also the seventh baby delivered in the hospital that night and the biggest.

He missed being a Halloween baby by thirty-four minutes. So many people were in labor and they were short on staffing, no one would break my water for me. Aaron arrived three minutes and two pushes after the midwife finally broke my water. I can't tell you how happy I was. Just wished that they would have done it sooner!

This photo of me was taken when we dropped the girls off at my Mom's house on the way to the hospital. And that is NOT a smile.
Well, that is about it. For the past week I have done very little. I did go and vote, Aaron saw the Dr., Annabelle goes to school, but that's about it. And thanks to my Mother I haven't even had to cook! I think Aaron has been held twenty hours a day on average since coming home and I love it. It really has been a great week.
